I am a 15-year CE professional. My focus has been on developing outcomes that create a story. By understanding the needs of our clients, I can showcase the success of your educational programs. Additionally, my background has focused on all areas of accreditation and compliance. I understand the ins and outs of all of the accreditation boards to help ensure all requirements are met for a CE program. With my background in science, research has always been a passion of mine. Understanding the needs of our learners and the evolving trends in our industry can be achieved through carefully planned research projects.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech and then moved west to complete my Master’s and PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. Postdoctoral Fellowships in both physiology and cancer research were completed at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Colorado. I am a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional, active industry volunteer and recognized as a Fellow by the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
My passion outside of work is training and competing in a variety of sports with my dogs. I currently have two Australian Shepherds (Gibbs and Jax) and a Rottweiler (Abby). We have been successful in agility, obedience, rally and scentwork but most importantly we have fun in everything we do! I am the active President of our local agility club as well as trial secretary for many agility events.
My husband and I also enjoy spending time in the mountains and traveling. There is so much more exploring to do, and we can’t wait to get back out there!
